Lessons in French or English
In Rue (FR) from February/March 2026, at my studio,, appointments by arrangement.
One- to two-hour introductory classes on a ready-to-use pedal or lever loom (a weaving project is already underway, which you will continue and can take home with you if you wish). Allow two hours if you want to take your weaving home with you.
Course outline: you will weave on a loom with the warp already prepared (the threads stretched across the loom will already be in place), and you will choose the threads to use as weft for weaving. You will learn the basic techniques of weaving, i.e. the actual act of weaving, and try out different weaving patterns (weaves). If you wish, you can take your small piece of fabric home with you at the end of the two hours (between 25 cm and 40 cm depending on how fast you weave).
The introductory course costs CHF 40 per hour, including equipment.
